The Commander of Twelve Clans and the most powerful person on the ground, Heda Lexa deserves respect or there will be consequences. While few can get away with it, she is a reasonable person and will tolerate more than some in lower, but formidable positions of power would. At Polis her subjects can take the opportunity to make their case for any grievances they place. Her ambassadors speak on behalf of their clan and its respective leaders. They do not have political immunity, so they too must show a measure of respect in all addresses.
Yet there are those who would not respect Heda's authority, and covet her power for themselves. Subjects that defy her rule are her enemies, and though Azgeda is still part of the coalition and therefore an ally, Lexa remains suspicious and still remembers their part in her lover's death. She does not act out any vengeance, but prepares herself for the potential of war.
Lexa is still in love with Clarke Griffin and is not one for taking lovers she's not serious about. She's tentative to allow people close to her after Costia, though the right woman can still impress her and catch her eye. She values intelligence and leadership qualities; though sometimes a compassionate smile can still send her heart fluttering for that basic need of human intimacy. Lexa is not likely to pursue any romantic relationships, nor act on any feelings, but interest is welcome.
